How It Works
The Sludge Dewatering Press operates with a system of fixed and moving discs that efficiently separate the water in the sludge through progressive compression.
The sludge is first conditioned with polymer and fed into the dewatering system, where flocs are formed.
These flocs pass through thickening and compression zones, where the water is gradually removed, resulting in sludge with a lower moisture content.
The equipment has a helical shaft (screw) that generates increasing pressure throughout the process, ensuring high dewatering efficiency.
For greater durability, the screw is coated with highly wear-resistant materials, such as tungsten carbide.
