How It Works
The treatment process takes place in sequential stages, ensuring efficient removal of impurities and the final quality of the water:
Coagulation and Flocculation:
Chemicals are added that agglomerate the suspended particles, forming larger flocs that are easier to separate.
Settling:
The flocs formed settle at the bottom of the tank and are removed as sludge.
Filtration:
The water passes through filter media, such as sand and activated carbon, removing smaller particles and remaining impurities.
Disinfection:
Stage responsible for eliminating microorganisms, ensuring the water is potable.
Correction and Adjustments:
When necessary, pH adjustments are made and products are added to meet the required standards.
Storage and Distribution:
After treatment, the water is stored and distributed for consumption or industrial use.
