Hyperbolic Mixer
First of all, we designed the Hyperbolic Mixer, also known as a Mechanical Mixer, for mixing and homogenizing wastewater with suspended solids, for use in equalization tanks, sludge buffer tanks and liquid mixing tanks. We also use it in anaerobic ponds, facultative ponds, aeration systems and anoxic selectors.

The hyperbolic mixer works by mixing through recirculation and directing the liquid flow along the bottom of the tank, providing complete homogenization with low electricity consumption.

Design
The turbine of the Hyperbolic Mixer's agitation system is built with curved blades and a large contact area, providing high efficiency in mixing and homogenizing liquids containing suspended solids. Its innovative hyperbolic mixer turbine design has an average diameter of 1.2 meters and is equipped with 8 blades. We drive the equipment with a low-speed, very high-torque gearmotor, generating excellent liquid mixing with low installed power. We designed the equipment so that the high torque is generated by reducing the speed of the high-efficiency electric motor relative to the gearbox output speed, with a service factor of 1.5, for greater durability and low maintenance.
In short, we manufacture the Hyperbolic Mixer with square stainless steel profile structures, a locking system, support base, drive support and lifting system. To transmit power to the homogenization turbine, we equip the drive shaft with flanged universal joints and roller bearings. These also compensate for any misalignment of the central drive shaft, providing greater durability for the Hyperbolic Mixer.
In conclusion, the hyperbolic mixer is simple and easy to install, and this can be done with the tank empty or full, since the structure does not need to be fixed to the bottom of the tank. For installations in ponds lined with geomembranes, we offer models with support bases fitted with shock-absorbing rubber, to avoid puncturing the pond lining.
