How the Pressure Filter works
The Pressure Filter works by forcing water, under pressure, through one or more layers of filter media selected according to the contaminants that need to be removed and the desired water quality.
As the water passes through the filter bed, the particles and impurities it contains are retained or reduced by different filtration and adsorption mechanisms, depending on the media used.
The possibility of combining different filter media makes it possible to configure the system for many industrial needs, from the removal of solids and turbidity to polishing stages and improving the characteristics of the water before subsequent processes.
This flexibility makes the Pressure Filter a solution that applies both to industrial water treatment and to reuse and final polishing systems.
Manufacturing process

Sizing takes into account factors such as flow rate, feed water characteristics, solids load, contaminants present, treatment goal and the quality standard required at the outlet.

Recommended for applications that require greater corrosion resistance, durability or specific process requirements.

Pressure vessel
Structure that houses the filter media and withstands the pressure conditions required by the filtration process.
Filter bed
Set of materials selected according to the characteristics of the water and the treatment goal. The system can work with different filter media or combinations of them.
Distribution and collection system
Responsible for properly distributing the water flow across the filter bed and collecting the water after it passes through the filter media.
Valves and piping
Allow the water flow to be directed and controlled under the different operating conditions of the equipment.
Instrumentation
Can be defined according to the level of control and monitoring required for each application.
Pumping system
When required by the process, the system can be integrated with pumping sized for the flow rate and hydraulic conditions of the installation.
