HOW IT WORKS

First of all, the physical DAF Flotator, or dissolved air flotator, is designed to operate in the flotation process without the addition of chemicals, with the help of microbubble pumps. It can achieve up to 50% efficiency in removing organic load and up to 70% in removing oils and greases.

As a result, the physical DAF Flotator is gaining more and more ground in fish, beef and poultry meatpacking plants. In addition, the extracted oil can be used in by-product processes such as animal feed.

Therefore, in addition to complying with current legislation, as a productive process it brings new sources of revenue to the company, making it an investment that pays for itself in the short to medium term.

In short, for the system to work correctly, the main component of the Physical DAF Flotator is the microbubble pump, whose function is to float the suspended solids by injecting microbubbles at the bottom of the equipment.

For this reason, Linsul develops its own microbubble pump design, using only top-quality processes and materials, such as investment casting (precision casting), a high-technology process that results in much greater durability than pumps that do not use it.

In addition, it is 100% stainless steel and generates bubbles 5 to 10 µm in size.
