Linsul developed a wastewater treatment plant for Envases' new facility in Ponta Grossa, Paraná. The project combined wastewater treatment stages and water treatment solutions to meet the needs of the industrial process.

Challenge

The new facility needed a structure compatible with operation 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The sizing considered effluent flows of up to 25 m³/h, peaks of up to 60 m³/h and a daily volume of up to 600 m³.

Linsul solution

The main scope included a rotary drum screen, a grit chamber, a diffused air aeration system and a flotodecantador. The solution also included a sludge scraper bridge in the secondary clarifier, a tertiary DAF unit and a sand filter. For water treatment, a 40 m³/h WTP and a 10 m³/h reverse osmosis system were delivered.
